FOCUS ON THE GOOD

      When you focus on the good, the good gets better.   —Abraham Hicks  Today, I woke up with feelings of inadequacy and how I could be doing so much better with my life. I’ve been ill for the past few days and just being in bed at the start of the new year sent a wave of depression  Business is slow, plans are not being pushed into the next call of action  On and on, I engaged my thoughts on things that that caused me to worry  Soon enough, a little thought stroke my mind, "how about all the good, where did you push them to?"  Then, I realised how we can have a train of good events and  just one negative event can hijack our minds and we lose sight of all the positives. This is usually as a result of our brain's negative bias; the tendency to focus more on the negative. We need to overcome this, to have a healthy mind and life.
